Bottoms Up Program ๐ฉฒ
Bottoms Up is CCCโs dedicated program to collect and distribute diapers, period products, and incontinence supplies for neighbors in need. Did you know:
- Infants require up to 12 diapers per day, and toddlers about 8. No state or federal child safety-net program allocates dollars specifically for the purchase of diapers. (Source: National Diaper Bank Network)
- Did you know that nearly 1 in 5 American girls have either left school early or missed school entirely because they didnโt have access to period products? (Source: Always. 2017. The Always Confidence and Puberty Wave VI Study.)
- Inadequate or inferior incontinence products can lead to urinary tract infections, rashes, and other complications that can trigger more serious problems. (Source: Lindenfeld Hall, Sarah. Source: โIsolated and alone: Nonprofits see explosion of need for adult incontinence products.โ NBC News. March 8, 2021)
The Community Crisis Center needs these items for the families we serve! Please drop off unopened and/or unused packages of diapers and pull-ups, pads, tampons, and liners, & incontinence products to our building.
